It is time for some hard changes in my life!

As human beings, we have to change some things in our lifes sometimes, always looking for to be better. Better as people, better as professional, but the real point is to live happier than we have been living. This is the point! We draw some plans for our lifes, but when we see that we are spending too much energy, for example, to get it, to achieve it, we have to stop, think and get a different way. I am going to do it. I stopped, thought and realized that this is the moment for me to do it.
Change! Change! Change! Change! Change! Change!

I was a married man... Yes, I was... My wedding is over. But Ok, all right, about it, no problem, without a doubt. I used to live alone before I get married and I will do this again, I will get back to live alone. It will be better for my mind, for health, for career... I used to play guitar, I used to ride by skate, I used to see my friends, I used to live in peace before I get married... And, I am sure that I will do all of this and many many more other things.

I am looking for a new and better job too.
Yes, I need to do it. I want to put in practice some new things that I have been learning, for example, about process management. Look, I did an ITIL v3 course in the last year, looking for getting an ITIL Certification, but where I have been working, I cannot put it in practice, there isn't a "door opened" to talk about this, to change the work flow there and, like this, I have seen there as a wrong place for me. I want more, much much more.

If you ask me where I want to get nowadays, what the position that I want to get to, I will tell you that I want be an IT team leader, I mean, I want to be a technical support supervisor, for example. I want to work at second level.
Of course, I do not see any problem if I have to get my ass out of my chair, go under any office table and fix a phone or computer network cable, no problem at all for me, but I want to learn how to be a good leader.
So, after all this, about my professional life, now, what I have to do is; Go ahead looking for a new job!

By the way, tomorrow I have an interview for a new job! =D
Hopefully everything will be fine there.

Well, I have to be happy because all of these decisions, indeed...

In my opinion, it was really great!
We had seen a lot of different opinions about His visit here, many of those, by the way, a few agressive, but We have to respect everyone and their opinions, isn't it? Of course!

So, it's my opinion and I repeat it: It was an honor to receive Mr President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, and His family here, in Brazil!

They are always smiling, they are very humble and, speaking a little bit about this little detail, I know "they" are politicians, but I don't think it's not true, I mean, I think "they" are like we see.
As we have seen from journals, tv shows and so on, in anywhere, He and the first lady Mrs Michelle Obama are opend mind, they have good and modern ideas and attitudes... Very, very good!

We have to understand before to be understood!

Everybody have their own reasons to make some things, to complain about some things, but we don't understand those attitudes everytime.
We see people talking a lot bad things, sometimes bad words,,,
It's normal, We do this! We complain a lot and in the most of the time we do it because of silly things.

But what we do not do is; Stop ourselves and look inside of each other, inside of the heart of each other and try to understand the root reasons of those things, to main reason of those attitudes!

It's really hard, i know!
But I think that we can change!
I think that we can do everything better!
I think that we can treat everyone better!

I ain't a perfect person, of course not!
I make many mistakes, many, many mistakes...
But I have in my mind that what I have to do, I mean, I always trying to think before take some actions, and I guess that in the most of the time I'm doing right things...

Well, I got the inspiration to write this post because I received a good video from a friend of mine, where we can see the singer Lauryn Hill talking exactly about this: We have to do everything that we can do to understand the people, before to make ourselves understood!

There are a lot of beatifull places here in Brazil.
By the way, as you know, every year a lot of people come here from different countries to visit our cities, our beaches, our culture, the different ways that we live and things like that.
Actually, our country is blessed I think...

Actually, by the way, I think it is interesting for a lot of people.
The people who's thinking in travel abroad, to know another culture, another people, to learn another language, so on. Even some people just use computers to do their work, to pain their bills, etc, we are always listening to a sea of things about it. Technology!
The new features, applications, devices and, consequently, possibilities.

Talking about operating systems specificly, I believe that you know this; Nowadays, we can run different enviroments at the same machine.
What I mean by that is if you've got an IBM PC, for example, which some people called of "The normal PCs", you can install any version of the Windows on that machine, and later you can install an application that allow you to use Linux, or whatever Operating System do you want, in that same machine, at the same time.

It is called of Virtualization. Ok.

I few days ago I earned a MacBook Pro 4.1, from my Mother.
What??? Did you earn a MacBook??
Yes, I earned it. I did not believe too. =D

Well, I used Macintosh too much time ago, when I worked for Better Comunicação, an advertising agency, but many things about that plataform is different.
Of course, many things is much better, but I need to learn everything again.

Ok, I started to study and use this operating system again, but We always need to use some application that only run in Windows. Based on this, I decided to find out how could I use it without rebooting my Notebook... and I found... VM Fusion!

Look what the VM Fusion Team say about this application: "We can run the most demanding Mac and Windows applications side-by-side, at maximum speeds and without rebooting."

It looks like a commercial phrase only, right?
Wrong! As you can see a few lines above, I installed this tool on my machine and I can tell you, if you have got a Macintosh too, go ahead! It really works very, very well!

The Infrastructure Behind of Cloud Computing

Have you heard about Cloud Computing, haven't you? I think so... But, if you do not work with Information Technology, I think you do not know many details about the structure that companies that are offering this technology has to have inside their Data Centers.

**Note: This post was translated from "Os bastidores da nuvem", writen by Gilberto Mautner and published at "Info Blogs".

Ok, let's go ahead...
To create an Internet Service Provider based on Cloud Computing, or something like this, the companies need to have many computers in their Data Centers, but these computers cannot be simple machines, I mean, these computers must be super machines. They are the Server Machines!

To be a Server Machine, the computer should hav more powerfull processors, much more memory, and much more disk space.

To see one of many models of actual Servers, Click Here.

Server Machines, not as many people think about, do not need a keyboard and a monitor to each of these one (of course, there is exceptions, in case of maintenance, for example.). Because of it, commonly they are stacked in furnitures called “Racks”, looking for to put as many machines as they can. If you want to see an example of it, Click Here.

“Racks”, how it must to be, are put in longs passageways, as we can see right here

Cloud services, as many of we know, must to stay always available, I mean, they must to stay on line 24x7. They cannot be turn off or stay unavailable across a minimal period of time, even if energy get down. Because of this too, Data Centers has in their infrastructure, for example, diesel generators, to supply energy during a period like that.
It is too important that, in many cases, there is Redundancy of Generators in most of companies, in other words, if one of these generators get down, the other start to work immediately.

Another thing, related to energy and generators; Data Centers must to keep diesel reserves to garantee the energy during a long periods of time, supplying power to generators. Problems like blackout can happen, as well as we saw in november of 2009. We can see an Underground Tank here, like an exemple. This tank has 30.000 liters of capacity. A tank like that can provide energy by 7 days, without us charge it again.

Another important components are the “No-breaks”. As well as we can see, these components are responsible to keep the energy up in the machines, even during a short period of time to the generators to get started to work, what happen commonly after a few seconds, in case of energy problems or somethings like that.

There is some equipments with removable batteries, which is really sofisticated, that allow us to change one or another battery, in the case of problems, but without to have to stop all the equipment, I mean, some no-breaks use the hot swap system.

To increase much more the services quality, looking for to keep the enviroment always up, the most of Servers have two or more independent outlets and each outlet is plugged on independent circuits, in other words, it is plugged on in diferent no-breaks.

Untill now, we have just talked about how is important to keep the energy working up among the Servers. But it is not everything!

The processors, the CPUs, I mean, the “mind” of the machines, installed inside the Servers get too hot.
Why does it happen? When you do a request executing a software, a lot of informations are send through the system. These informations are transformed in eletric energy, running up inside to the CPU core. To solve this question, which we can see like a problem, there is many ways, many techinics.

Dangerous problems or Disasters, if you do prefer, can happen at any moment inside the Data Centers. The most normal situation, about this issue, are wildfires. Its because of the high level of eletric energy running over the place. The companies must have a professional infrastructure (and tools!) to eliminate something like this.

Well, as well as we can see a little bit through at this post (and this! ;-P), the enviromental behind of Cloud Computing must be really well prepared. It seems like an industrial infrastructure. About the software, this enviroment is beyond of Operational System, network and things like these. Thermodinamic, chimical reactions against wildfires and so on.

So, I really like many kinds, but, in general, my favorite style is the Rock And Roll.

By the way, I decided to learn to play guitar (and similars instruments like bass and eletric guitar) a few years ago, because I always thought about to do something different, thinking about therapy, and this is one of the many ways to do this.
So, from of this, I started to listen to somethings alternative... Then I figured out this band, Korn.
Wow!!! This is Fantastic(!!!), I said... rs
I was 18 and it was perfect to that time.
I was young and rebel... Don't you? rssrs...

Since then, I started looking for different bands,,,
Nowadays, there is a lot great bands, but, as many things in our life, changes came for me... My time is very short today... My little princess, called Bárbara, don't let me do nothing when I'm in home, as my wife do... hunf...
But, my MP4 has 2GB of old things and one thing that I've never let fail in, is related to this band.

We have seeing many Americans, which are really living right now into the bubble of economic crisis in the United States of America, as we know, don't believe that the President Barack Obama is doing the rights things to solve the problems of that country and its consequences.

But, even I being a Brazilian person and living out of that country, I'm always reading, seeing and listening to everything about what He's doing. I think He is going by the right way, I mean, I believe in His actions!

And don't talking about the present, but taking advantage and talking about the future, I think He is continue to work follow the principles of the 1º world countries: The education is the key!

I feel that I need to increase my english vocabulary.
And it's right because I study this language and I want to have a fluent english.
Ok. But how to do it?

If you are an English Student as me, I must know that this part is one of de most difficult thing: Really learn, I mean, record in our mind some new words to thinking in use those naturaly.

Some teachers say, and I believe in them, that you need read a lot and write double that you actualy do!
When you do it, read, you know new words.
When you write, you record those new words.
It's like our brain works.

So, to practice this part of my studys, I'll write some new words that I always listen to in news a read in books and magazines and after this, I'll write some short phrases with these words.

Create the legend for some videos, some times!
Why? Because to do it, you are obliged to listen to and watch, obviously, the same thing once, twice, thrice or much more times, to know exactly what the people are talking, I mean, you have interpret what is present through this.

I could say, the greatest Rock and Roll band, but Primus, for me, always will be The Greatest Rock and Roll band! 8)

But, let's go ahead based on this subject post...
So, Foo Fighters have always showed for us great songs, since short and agressive songs, until slow and very well worked songs. And, talking about live presentations, they've a great stage performance.
Finaly, and the most important, these guys always have had: Attitude!

I'm studing English a lot... I'm finding out informations about that city, so on...

It's the great tip...
It's really help you to improve your english!

I just watch a video on EnglishClub, where some people, English Foreign Learners (and Teachers), are talking about "What do you must do to improve your english skills".
Well, this issue is related to the hardest things to do to some people. But it shouldn't be!

Yes, I think that you cannot have fear to talk or write, for example, in other language, when you decide study about it.

If you made a choice like this, congratulations, but before that, I have to tell you, go ahead!
I mean, did you choose to study english, isn't it?
Ok... You must do everything that you can do in english! Do you know what I mean?

If you can listen to whatever in english, go ahead... But, if you only can write in english, because your job, your children, anyway, go ahead.
But if you have luck to talk in english, also you can listen to everything, write, really participate of some virtual community, some list, for example, my fellow, go ahead! Improve you skills!

Do everything without shame or fear!
Don't feel yourself scary when you have luck to do something in english. Go ahead!
Look beyond of you and go ahead!

By the way, I have two videos published at YouTube, where I am talking in english. :D

One of these is really horrible... The another one is only ugly... huahuhuahua....

So, the first video that I published, recorded in september of 2009, I was talking very very slow, between other mistakes... But I did it! ;)

And the another one, which I published just below, I sent to YouTube a three months later, I am too much better.
